Angela Rush, FNP-C presented “Talking About Dementia” where she conducted a highly engaging question and answer session, discussing the umbrella terms used for dementia, the onset of Alzheimer’s disease prior to memory loss, statistics, risk factors, early signs, prevention methods to reduce the onset of Alzheimer’s, and diagnostic testing. Following the session, Morning Star Lewis provided complimentary memory screenings. We were delighted to collaborate with Hawthorn Court at Ahwatukee to provide insights and research efforts for those living with dementia or caring for someone with the condition.
